32 million Indian children have never been to any school: How can we reform education for the underprivileged?

India is a country with more than one billion people, and just one-third of them can read. Rapidly growing size of population, shortages of teachers, books, and basic facilities, and insufficient public funds to cover education costs are some of the nation’s toughest challenges.Statistics say "At least 32 million children aged 6 - 14 years do not attend school." This is where Children in India are facing the basic challenges. According to a study, more than 30% of educational funds are allocated towards higher education, leaving the primary education in India in sway.

Way of Hope International, on hearing of the need for the illterate started literacy classes giving them the basics of how to read, write, and do simple mathematics! We were surprised that so many turned up to learn! What most of us take for granted-education- is craved byu those who dont have it because of thier finacial struggles. Way of Hope International needs your help to help educate these children. We currently have 5 Literacy Classes going on. We have 10 teachers working with us to teach these children! We would like to expand our wings and go further into the different areas of India and educate the illeterate! We can only do it with your help and support! In places like Orissa going to schools is not practical for thier meagre income of parents. Thus the children fail to know how to read and write. They then fall into thier traditional family line of poverty! Only we together can break this chain of uneducation! Help us make a difference! Please donate or Join Us!

Teens Are struggling today more than we think! : How can we help them before it's too late?

Teenagers face real concerns, between 13 and 19 years of age, on a daily basis as this is the most awkward growth stage of their lives. During this time, teens are exposed to some overwhelming external and internal struggles. They go through, and are expected to cope with hormonal changes, puberty, social and parental forces, work and school pressures, and so on. Many teens feel misunderstood. It is vital that their feelings and thoughts are validated and that the validation comes from their parents and the people around them. We need to approach their children, who have been dealing with teenage growth issues, carefully and in a friendly manner to discuss the concerns. Help us impact the youth before its too late!

Many teens today are commiting suicide! We find it our purpose to find such people and counsel them and help them understand thier meaning and purpose in this world! We believe in what the Bible says that one soul is more important athan this whole world! Way of Hope International wants everyone to know that there is a purpose in your life and we have dedicated team members that will mentor them! We want all teens to know that we are here for them and that we care!

And how shall they preach unless they are sent?"-Romans 10:14-15 . Way of Hope International believes God has called each and everyone of us to carry his life-tansforming message across the world. In doing so Way of Hope International has not only developed Christ-loving people but has also made Churches! Help us to continue spreading the love of Jesus to the World!

It is our duty to go and tell every village that there is a saviour who loves them! Most Christians don't profess thier faith! Jim Elliot, a missionary once said this "“It makes me boil when I think of the power we profess and the utter impotency of our action....". Let us live lives worthy of our calling! Do work with us in impacting the world for Christ!

Who We Are?

Way of Hope International is a Christian Non-Profit Organization. We focus on the issues that young adults face like peer-pressure, suicide, pornography, and wrong relationships. Way of Hope aims to "Empower Youth with A Mission". So that they can continue to make a difference in the world! We "Empower Youth with a Mission" by conducting seminars, awareness classes, VBS's, youth camps, outreach meetings and much more! At Way of Hope we believe that we have an eternal hope through Jesus Christ and consider it our duty and privilege to let others know that there is a Hope for them too! We may not be able to impact everyone but we can all do our part! You can do your part by arranging a program in your church or school, join with us, or donate!
